B-works is a customer-centric tech-company that helps clients to innovate by solving market needs with a mix of business, technology, and creativity skills. We started as a software company in Zurich, successfully growing our client base which includes the Swiss government, international corporations, SMEs, as well as start-ups.
Starting 2021 B-works will expand its activities beyond software: 1) Development of Digital Products and Web Experiences for external clients, as well as 2) Development of our own AI-powered, no code SAAS product for solar power companies.
To support this growth we are opening a new office in Berlin and committed to hiring and developing top talent from around the world in Product Management, User Experience, Software Development, and AI.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • You like being in charge of several projects, including the pitch, the roadmaps, the backlog and the releases.
  • You lead projects with Scrum for our interdisciplinary teams (strategy and conception, software and web development).
  • You are the contact person, networker and mediator between the client and your team, travelling when necessary.
  • As Product Owner you support our customers in defining goals, understanding requirements, translating them to user stories, and implementing them in functional software.
  • You create new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • You work autonomously and in a self-organized team with developers, designers, and marketing experts.
  • You find solutions, not problems.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a project/ product manager at a digital agency or in-house and have already built up a customer network.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management (or similar) with solid knowledge of business and web related principles.
  • You enjoy proactively thinking of new solutions for existing clients and to expand business opportunities.
  • You are communicative and a good networker: you know how to translate complex customer needs into realistic user stories and solutions for your Scrum team.
  • You stay calm under pressure and prioritize your tasks.
  • You are an optimist, a leader, an implementer.
  • You are 100% reliable and structured in everyday life.
  • You have the legal right to live/ work in Germany.
  • You speak and write fluent German and English; understanding Swiss German and/or French is a big plus.
  • Remain engaged, proactive, and positive in tough circumstances. Own assignments and take full accountability for their success.
  • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills, willingness to gain and share new knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively.
